I am recalling that tour he did with the stones. GTD carried that concert and convinced a lot of my buddies that George was the real deal. Myself, I was hooked years earlier with the Madison blues and You gotta lose. That's when they knew what I was talkin about. ....

Exciting release. Anybody know more about when recorded - did GTD perform in Boston in 82?

How about the song Wild Weekend? I'm clueless.

Thanks to Rounder for checking the vault and getting this music out.

Wow, this is fantastic news. I will definitely be supporting Rounder for this and buying a copy or 2. I'm loving the fact that it's not just a live greatest hits cd. Miss Luann, Wild Weekend, As the Years Go Passing By, One Way Ticket? That's real cool!!

From now on, I expect us to be informed that if a new CD is not going to be available in stores on the day they say it is, then tell us it will be available online only, then TELL US SO. Am I asking too much??
I had a family emergency so I had to go out of town...and I was really looking forward to getting the new CD to lift my spirits a bit until I could get home back to my computer and download the rest of the CD. List of stores that did not have it:
FYE
Walmart
Best Buy
Barnes & Noble

It was heartbreaking to show up at my favorite record store to find it they han't received it yet but they will hold a copy for me when it comes in. :smt022 The chain stores really don't care.
Thank goodness it could be downloaded.
